Playstation 3 Sales on eBay December 5, 2006

I did some quick analysis using www.terapeak.com to research PlayStation 3 sales on eBay.com. Basiclly on average they sold for $1,236 USD / Console. Over 30,200 PlayStation 3 consoles were sold in 7 days between Nov 17th, 2006 and Nov 23rd, 2006. The most popular associated keywords included “PS3” and “60GB”. Given the Microsoft xBox 360 Launch did roughly the same number of units but at a $718 USD average price; it is clear that PlayStation fetched a hefty premium.
